Welcoming a new baby is beautiful, but the early weeks can also feel overwhelming. Families deserve real support during this time, not just a quick congratulations before they are left to figure everything out on their own.
As a DONA International Certified Postpartum Doula, Lactation Specialist, and trained Newborn Care Specialist, I provide calm, practical support during the fourth trimester so parents can feel more confident caring for their newborn.
I provide in-home postpartum doula support for families within a 45-minute drive of Clinton, New Jersey.
This includes many communities throughout Hunterdon County and nearby areas, such as: Clinton • Flemington • Lebanon • Annandale • Whitehouse Station • Readington • Califon • High Bridge • Tewksbury • Lambertville • Bridgewater • Somerville, as well as the Greater Philadelphia Area.
If you’re unsure whether you fall within my service area, feel free to reach out and ask. I’m always happy to help families find the support they need.
I help families learn their baby’s cues, offer breastfeeding support, answer questions about feeding and sleep, and provide reassurance during a time when everything can feel new and uncertain. I also help parents sort through the many pieces of information that come with newborn care so they can focus on what works best for their baby and their family.
My support is always guided by your parenting style, your values, and your goals. I am there to offer evidence informed guidance, steady reassurance, and practical help so parents feel more capable and supported in their new role.
Families often share that having an experienced and calm presence makes the early weeks feel far more manageable. My goal is to help you settle into life with your baby with greater confidence and peace of mind.
I provide postpartum doula support for families throughout Central New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area.
It would be a privilege to support your family during this important season.
Hi, I’m Joy.
My path to becoming a postpartum doula began long before I ever knew the profession existed. I’m the mother of four children, and those early parenting years taught me just how profound and how challenging the transition into life with a new baby can be.
Like many parents, I learned a lot through experience. I remember the exhaustion, the questions that seem to pop up at every hour of the day, and the quiet moments of wondering if you are doing everything “right.” What I wished for most during that time was someone experienced nearby. Someone calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable who could say, “You’re doing okay. Let’s figure this out together.”
Years later, that experience led me to the work I do now.
Today I am a DONA International Certified Postpartum Doula, Lactation Specialist, and trained Newborn Care Specialist. I combine professional training with the perspective that comes from raising children myself. Before entering the world of postpartum care, I also spent many years working in education, which shaped the way I approach supporting parents with patience, clear guidance, and a deep respect for the learning process that comes with caring for a new baby.
Families often describe me as calm, steady, and reassuring. My goal is never to replace a parent’s instincts but to strengthen their confidence and help them feel supported as they grow into their new role.
Outside of my work, my greatest joy is my family, including my four grown children and my grandson, who reminds me often how special the early days with a baby truly are.
Supporting families during this life changing season is work I feel deeply grateful to do.

Sleep is one of the most common concerns families bring up as their baby grows.
In addition to postpartum doula care, I offer sleep support for families from the fourth trimester through the toddler and preschool years. Many parents simply want clear guidance about what is normal, how sleep develops, and how to create routines that support better rest for the whole family.
Together, we look at your child’s age, temperament, daily rhythm, and your family’s goals. From there, I provide practical guidance and a clear plan that helps you move toward more restful nights and predictable days.
Sleep support can be helpful if your baby wakes frequently overnight, naps are short or inconsistent, bedtime has become stressful, or you feel overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting advice online.
My goal is to help you understand your child’s sleep and give you steady guidance as you work toward better rest for your family.
Investment: $600
Better sleep is possible. This two-week package provides the guidance and support families need to make meaningful changes to their child’s sleep.
Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your child’s developmental stage and your family’s routines, and I’ll support you as you implement it step by step.
What’s included
• A personalized sleep plan designed around your child’s unique needs and circumstances
• Two weeks of text message support while you implement the plan
• Unlimited email support throughout the two-week period
• Two 30-minute phone consultations — one at the beginning to review your plan and one at the end to wrap up our time together
As a postpartum doula, I’ve supported many families through the early months with a new baby, and sleep is one of the most common challenges parents face as their child grows. My approach looks at the whole picture — your child’s age, temperament, daily rhythm, and your family’s goals.
Together we will:
• Understand what is developmentally appropriate for your child’s age
• Create a predictable daytime rhythm and bedtime routine
• Address night wakings with a clear, consistent plan
• Build sleep habits that support long-term success
Sleep support is available for babies and children from the fourth trimester through the toddler and preschool years.
The early days with a new baby can feel beautiful and overwhelming at the same time — you don’t have to do it alone.
With the right support, families often experience less stress, more rest, smoother recovery, growing confidence, and a stronger bond with their baby.
If you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or have questions about support, I’d love to hear from you. I personally respond to every message and would be honored to connect.
