Frequently Asked Questions

  • How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible. My in-person postpartum calendar fills up quickly, often months in advance. If you are pregnant, reaching out during your second trimester is a great idea. Virtual sleep consulting tends to have more flexibility, so do not hesitate to reach out even if your need is more immediate.

  • What is the difference between a postpartum doula and a night nurse?

A night nurse typically focuses only on the baby during overnight hours. As a postpartum doula, my support goes much deeper than that. I support the whole family, including feeding guidance, emotional support, postpartum recovery, sibling adjustment, and building your confidence as a parent, not just caring for your baby while you sleep.

  • Do you offer virtual support or do you only come to my home?

Both. I provide in-home postpartum doula support for families within about 45 minutes of Clinton, New Jersey, including communities throughout Hunterdon, Warren, and Somerset Counties. My sleep consulting services are available virtually, so no matter where you are located we can work together.

  • What if I am not sure which service is right for me?

That is exactly what the free discovery call is for. We will talk through where you are, what your family needs, and what support makes the most sense. There is no pressure and no commitment. Just an honest conversation.

  • What ages do you work with for sleep consulting?

Newborns all the way through preschool age. Whether you have a three week old with their days and nights mixed up, a nine month old who is up every two hours, or a three year old who has never once gone to bed without a battle, I can help. Sleep challenges look different at every stage and my approach is always tailored to your child's age, temperament, and your family's goals.

Do not just take my word for it.

Families all across Central New Jersey have found more rest, more confidence, and more joy in those early weeks. Here is what some of them have to say.
